Spring is in the air! Another 5 day week of learning ahead!
This week Kate's foods classes will be setting up an Eden Tower to grow vegetables! Keltie will also be setting up a desktop version in the CLASS. Funding for this tower was made available through the National Nutrition Food Program. Check out Hope Innovations website to learn more about these towers!
Janine's Forensics class will have a visit from Brad, the Calgary Fire Department Arson Investigator, and his dog,Titus!
Report Cards Available in PowerSchool
Term 3 report cards are available in PowerSchool. Report cards are a snapshot in time, and your teen's marks may have already changed since the report cards were uploaded. The most current marks, assignments and feedback are viewable in PowerSchool.

Spring Plant Fundraiser
Although it is hard to imagine a world with no snow right now, Spring will come eventually! Please consider ordering your bedding out plants or planters from Alternative High School to support the graduating class. You can view and order your beautiful bedding out plants at our Alti Spring Plant Fundraiser Website. Deadline to order is April 28. Plants will be delivered to the school on May 13&14, just in time for Mother's Day!

Chinook Learning Services Summer School and Planning for 2026-27
Chinook Learning Services is the Calgary Board of Education's provider of High School Upgrading, non-credit Continuing Education (professional development, personal development & corporate training), Summer School for Grades 10-12, and Off-Campus (work experience) programs. Learn more About Us.
Chinook Learning will be at Alternative HS on April 21 @ 11:45 to share information about Summer School (in-person and online at CBelearn) as well as upgrading or high school completion for our current grade 12s.
