We have a full week of learning this week! Students worked hard on completion day to bring their learning up to date. It's hard to believe we are halfway through the semester!
In the spirit of Mastery, Art classes are working on stained glass projects, Phys Ed. is going golfing on Wednesday, and ELA and Social students are practicing their writing skills. Ask your teen what they are learning in their courses this week!
School Council/Parent Association Meeting Tuesday, April 7 @ 6:00pm
School Council and Parent Society meet on Tuesday, April 7 @6:00pm. We hope you can join us in person at the school or online in Microsoft Teams .
Term 3 Ends April 8
Any students who are in 3 credit/Term 3 courses will need to complete their work by this Thursday, April 2. Marks for these courses are due by April 8. Term 4 classes are visible in PowerSchool.
Term 3 and mid-term grades and comments will be available in PowerSchool April 14. Schools no longer print report cards, however, if you need a copy, please reach out to the office.
Spring Plant Fundraiser
Although it is hard to imagine a world with no snow right now, Spring will come eventually! Please consider ordering your bedding out plants or planters from Alternative High School to support the graduating class. You can view and order your beautiful bedding out plants at our Alti Spring Plant Fundraiser Website. Deadline to order is April 28. Plants will be delivered to the school on May 13&14, just in time for Mother's Day!

Grad Checks and Banquet
Mentors will be doing grad checks every two weeks to ensure our graduating students are on track. Students must be passing all classes and on track to achieve all credits (within 5) towards their high school diploma in order to participate in graduation activities.
Please ensure your grad has filled out the survey indicating whether they plan on attending the banquet and how many tickets they are requesting. Jen and Janine will confirm on Friday, April 10 number of tickets each grad has access to so we can put them into the fees portal. Do not order tickets "just in case" as we cannot issue refunds.
