This week is the last week of classes for Semester 1. Students should be working on finishing up assessments by Friday. Mentors have been connecting with students about second semester planning. Reach out to your child's mentor if you have questions.
Access to Marks and Report Cards
Parents and students can view current due dates, grades, feedback and missing work in PowerSchool. If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video).
Student grades will be visible this week in PowerSchool until 2:00pm on Friday. Course marks are due by Tuesday, January 27 at 9:00am so grades will not be visible in PowerSchool after Friday, January 23.
Report Cards for Semester 1 will be visible on February 2 in PowerSchool. If you need a copy of your child's report card printed, please have them ask Jodi in the office after February 2.

Post-Secondary Lunch and Learn
Students had the opportunity last week to get more information from Alberta University of the Arts, SAIT and University of Calgary.
This week our last post-seconary visit will be Bow Valley College. Presentation will be in the Learning Strategies class at 11:00am, and the representative will stick around at lunch to talk to students who can't be at the presentation.
For students interested in connecting to the trades, Careers the Next Generation will visit Alternative on February 18 to show students how to get registered in their portal and how to apply for opportunities.
Grad Photos THIS WEEK!
Graduation photos are scheduled for January 21-23, 2026. Students can sign up for a sitting using this link: Edge Imaging | Booking Your Appointment. Students do NOT need to pay for a sitting if they simply want a picture for the Graduate Composite.
Information about grad can be found on our website. Students also have access to a D2L shell where information is shared regularly.
