We had a busy learning week at Alternative last week!  Many students took advantage of time with teachers to get work done and finish up their courses successfully.  

PowerSchool marks will not be visible after today, Sunday.  Teachers will be finalizing grades and comments.  If your teen is unsure if they have passed, they should contact their teacher directly. Final marks and comments are due June 19, and report cards will be released online on June 25. Students may appeal non-diploma grades on June 25 and 26 by appointment. 

You should have received a copy of your child's IPP.  Please be sure to sign and return the signature page.  You should retain the IPP for your records.

Credit Recovery by Invitation

Teachers may have arranged with students to finish up work this week in order to finish their courses successfully.  Students should be in communication with staff about these opportunities and not just show up at school.  Staff are in Professional Learning, Interviews for new students and meetings.  They may not be available to work with a student unexpectedly.  

Summer School Online Starts June 25

If your teen has signed up for Summer School at CBelearn, they are welcome to connect with their mentor to get support getting signed in and started in their courses.  Students should have received an email confirming they are registered in Summer School, and their courses will open up in D2L on Thursday, June 25.
