Congratulations to all our students who completed diploma exams last week!
Report Cards and IPPs
Report cards will be released online on June 25. Students may appeal non-diploma grades on June 25 and 26 by appointment. Diploma exam grades are finalized prior to students writing their exams. Students do not receive a paper copy of thier report card. If you are unable to view your report card on Thursday, or if you need a printed copy, please contact the office.
Need Help? Check out these videos for more information on how to log in and navigate the portal when you have more than one child attending CBE schools.
Video Tutorials Grades 10 to 12
For technical support on accessing MyCBE, visit Technical Support for Students & Parents for more information.
You should have received a copy of your child's IPP. Please sign the signature page and return it to your mentor by Thursday, June 25.
Summer Clean Up
Lockers were cleaned out on the last day of classes. Any belongings left in lockers will be bagged and should be picked up by June 26. They will not be kept over the Summer.
Students should have taken home any projects/art work last week. Any work left behind will not necessarily be kept over the Summer.
Graduating students should remove all files from Google prior to June 30. Students can use Google Takeout to move their files to a personal Google Account. Once students are removed from the CBE directory, their files are removed as well.
Once diploma exams marks are finalized by Alberta Education, students will be able to view them in MyPass. All our grade 12s should have access as their mentors made it a priority to ensure the transition would be smooth. Once a student has completed all the requirements for a high school diploma, it will be sent to their home in the mail. Diplomas are issued by Alberta Education, not Calgary Board of Education or Alternative High School. Students can access their transcripts for post-secondary applications through MyPass as well. They can reach out to their mentor if they have questions prior to June 26.
Summer School Online Starts June 25
If your teen has signed up for Summer School at CBelearn, they are welcome to connect with their mentor to get support getting signed in and started in their courses. Students should have received an email confirming they are registered in Summer School, and their courses will open up in D2L on Thursday, June 25.
Staff Availability June 22 - June 26
Students wishing to connect with their teachers should make an appointment. Staff are booked into professional learning sessions and may not be available if a student attends unexpectedly.
On Wednesday, June 24 we will be hosting any students new to Alti for September for a short timetable run-through. Mentors have reached out to ask for students from their groups to come help host, but any students who would like to help welcome our new students are welcome to attend on Wednesday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
As the year comes to a close, we are sad to say goodbye to our graduating students, but so proud of what they have accomplished. We look forward to when they visit to let us know how they are doing post high school.
We also are excited about planning for next year and continuing to create safe, welcoming and respectful space for all the students joining us for the 2026-27 school year.
Have a great week Alti!
