Congratulations to all our students who participated in Trickster Theatre Residency last week. Although not everyone was able to be part of the final performance, many of our students stepped into a "brave" space, took risks and challenged themselves. We are so proud of the final production and of our young performers. Thank you to Trickster Theatre, Alberta Foundation for the Arts and our Parent Association for their generous support of this opportunity.

Parent Teacher Student Conferences November 28 9:00am - 12:00pm

Parents will have an opportunity to connect with their child's teachers through Microsoft Teams on Nov. 28 from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Sign up for PT Conferences using MyCBE. Parents and students can view current grades, feedback and missing work in PowerSchool this week once report card marks are finalized. If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer, to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video). Grad Meeting Tuesday Nov. 25 at Lunch
Students must be on track to complete their high school graduation requirements by June in order to be included on the grad list. Jen and Janine have notified mentors of students who are currently in grade 12 who may be in jeopardy. The first grad meeting will be Tuesday, Nov. 25 at lunch. Students will begin to identify themes for grad, as well as sign up for MyPass and learn more about grad pictures January 21 - 23. School Council/Parent Association AGM Tuesday, Dec. 2 @ 6:00pm
We have reset the Annual General Meeting for Tuesday, Dec. 2. We have several positions that need filing, including Parent Association President. We have parents who are willing to step up, but we appreciate when we have more people to do the work. Please email Prinicpal Tracy (tadalton@cbe.ab.ca) if you are interested. We only meet 6 times a year and most roles only involve at most 1-2 hours a month.
We hope you can join us in person at the school or online in Microsoft Teams for the Annual General Meeting, and that you might consider putting your name forward to help!
